Associate Professor Dr. Ng Yu Jin, an academic researcher with a Ph.D. in TESL and a background in electrical engineering, brings a unique perspective to English Language Teaching (ELT). His expertise in corpus linguistics and vocabulary teaching informs innovative ESL methods. As a journal reviewer, he contributes to ELT scholarship, focusing on data-driven approaches to language acquisition. Dr. Ng’s interdisciplinary background enables him to design effective strategies for lexical proficiency, supporting educators and students in Malaysia and beyond. Dr. Ng Yu Jin has been involved in Research and Innovation Competition, like those of The International Invention, Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX), Malaysia Technology Exhibition (MTE) and PECIPTA. He and his team won a gold medal in ITEX for the production of Technical Engineering Vocabulary Assessment, as well as in winning gold medals in British Invention Show (BIS) and International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions, and New Products (iENA) for the Retrotext-E 1.0.
