Dr. Hui Geng, a Senior Lecturer at Guilin University of Technology, China, brings a passion for literature and language to English Language Teaching (ELT). Holding a Ph.D. in English Language from Universiti Putra Malaysia, she specialises in corpus linguistics, academic writing, and creative writing. Her work as a copy editor for the International Journal of Education and Literacy Studies and assistant editor for the ASEAN Journal of Applied Linguistics supports ELT scholarship. Dr. Hui’s focus on cross-cultural communication through poetry and translation enriches students’ linguistic and expressive skills, contributing to global ELT communities.Impact Story:
In 2023, Dr. Hui Geng’s creative writing workshops at Guilin University enabled 200 ESL students to publish a poetry anthology, as reported by the university.
