Associate Professor Dr. Zarifi, based at Yasouj University, Iran, is a distinguished scholar in English Language Teaching (ELT). Holding a Ph.D. in TESL from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where he earned a distinction for his thesis on phrasal verbs, he specialises in corpus-based studies and vocabulary learning. His development of the ‘Zar-test’ and ‘Focus Framework’ supports innovative ESL instruction.
